SC WI | I have been to southern areas for farming. There is a lack of labor to do tasks and also a lack of competition in areas. The below average ground is the first to sit idle, big investors control most of the land and have pushed out most who would step up.
Others must remember there is a lot of furrow irrigation, this requires land leveling, berms, water piping, and extensive labor to make it all come together, usually 40s at a time. | |
