| No Alfa Alfa here. No wheat here. There is corn but it’s on the better sandier ground.
Supposedly the sweet potato farmers have been doing well There’s a couple of them over in Arkansas and north Mississippi. I was talking to a banker in north Mississippi and I was asking about the farmers. She looks over a lot of loans for one of the regional banks here. And she said nobody’s projections are good except the sweet potatoes.
She also said she only had two farmers that had zero debt that she could think of. I asked if the rest were had a lot of debt or were over leveraged and she said “ohh yea”
But again she’d be the third banker that I’ve heard from that basically everyone’s gonna go again
We got a solid three more years of these prices if you ask me where the highs will get lower and the lows will get lower at harvest and the govt checks will even get smaller because no more mid terms so no reason to buy votes
Typing this while trying to drive a track hoe in between dragging tree limbs. Lots of errors
