Central ND | Find a used Pro700 unless you're going to keep the sprayer no matter what.
The Viper 4+ is going to be a night and day difference, but the initial outlay is going to be more than you think.
Your autosteer won't work with the Viper, you'll have to change to a Raven steering solution.
~$7k for the viper assuming you went with a reman
~$8k for the autosteer
~$3500 for a new receiver (without RTK)
That's parts only price ballparked, and there's another caveat to it...
Depending on your cab harness, which would require looking by serial number or putting eyes on the machine, you may need a different cab harness (~$9k) and/or a replacement external harness (~$4k).
As much as I dislike it personally, you could also look into a Precision Planting system. | |
