When borrowing money for purchase of land, several lenders that I have talked to want 45 to 60 days from start of process to closing.  Kind of hard to do that with an auction when they send out notice of auction 2 to 3 weeks before auction and want to close 30 days after auction. Have to start the process before I even know it is for sale.
