Surely if Hunter was higher up the drug ladder, this would have been brought forth in senate hearings and prosecutions. This was not the case.
Absolutely there was much more to the Hernandez pardon. He was pardoned to sway public opinion in the Honduras election to sway the election to the candidate he desired.
The point is drugs and trafficking are acceptable if a desired political outcome is achieved.
