Bought a 12 row 1760 45 miles away. I know a tractor would be the best bet. But would you think a Ram 1500 with airbags in the rear handle the tongue weight? Could easily take flat county roads and go slow. A friend with a one ton pickup can't get to it for another few weeks.
For future reference - We got the planter home. A 1 ton handled it just fine, but it is very tongue heavy like everyone mentioned. |
