Subject: Probably not.

Fairbury, NE (Southeast)
Utilizing available crop nutrients is possible by making said nutrient actually available. Is lime holding you back? Are nutrients deeper in the profile?

How do you get there? So little work has been done on accessing nutrients via covers. Which unfortunately can have the negative effect of leaching nutrients back where it should not go. Manure, commercial, liquid, dry. Lots of Lime going on locally with dry fertilizer still over 800.

So, to some extent you have to layer in your yield improvements or lack thereof vs trend of P and other levels. Especially if they are considered within "acceptable range"

Very interesting question.
