Our next move - is hopefully the quick “winning over of the population” like we had to do during Iraq during the surge. Help them to see vast improvements in their daily lives. 30 years under an authoritarian dictator is different than 100’s of years under various/shifting Islamic clan rule or 100+ Years of Stalin/Lenin/Russian hardline rule….. democratic freedom in venuezuela hasn’t completely skipped a generation. |
