East Central IL | The Colombia River Maritime museum in Astoria is very interesting and McMinnville is worth it just to see the Spruce Goose. There is another small air museum near Tillamook that is housed in an WW2 dirigible hangar, the building is the coolest part of that. The Oregon coast is beautiful, but a long drive. Be sure to catch the redwood areas of Nothern CA. They are magnificent trees, more impressive to me than the Sequoias further south. | |
