I have a couple feeders with vertical bars, not slanted. Fed corn to some bulls in one once and watched a big bull put his head in the same hole as a smaller bull and come very close to choking him out by pushing down on top of the other one’s neck/head. I prefer the open neck/horizontal rails because of this potential risk.
Which type of feeder panel? Slanted or horizontal bar?
