Alpena MI | If there weren't 3 bidders above $10,000, his math is correct. There are many what ifs at auctions, as many as there are individuals, so of course no one knows conclusively what the outcome would have been if said businessman wasn't present, but the fact remains, if you take fuel, heat, or oxygen individually from a fire, it WILL go out. What I'm saying is that the dollar amount the third to the last bidder dropped out at, is more than likely the auction value if you take final runner up bidder, or final buyer out of the equation.
