Yup milk or grape juice spilled on highways is hazardous waste. Yet a drilling/energy company can dump salt water on your land and its not deemed a hazardous waste per FERC regulations. I found that out 10 years ago when they drilled a non production well on our land. Dairy producers need to lobby and get it changed in federal regulations. I remember in start of antibiotic regulations on milk, there was a time you couldn't take antibiotic contaminated milk and land apply it.
