how far are you from Roanoke, VA?
Ancestors had some ground in Shawsville area, SW of Roanoke. I went back and looked at it a couple years ago, and wondered what it was like 200 years ago
Very pretty country
Probably an hour and half drive - lots of mountains and crooked roads between. Lots of growth around Roanoke and into the Blacksburg/Virginia Tech area. Progress I guess… |
