 Frost,Mn | I would definitely hire a local accountant with ag knowledge. Each state has different tax laws and it’s best to have someone who knows instead of having to go find an answer. I used to go harvesting from Texas to North Dakota and had to file in each state I made money, or at least where farmers sent me 1099’s. I hired a national firm and talked to the local accountant and a senior analyst made sure everything was correct. Not the cheapest but I felt better about it. | |
