So Maduro removed, but the VP is now in charge? So oil companies will now invest billions in oil fields in Venezuela. Supposedly. Meanwhile OPEC is pumping more oil and prices of oil is going down which will hurt fracking profits. Oil companies have been laying off.
So much for that drill baby drill baby drill huh?

Now the oil companies will be investing in Venezuela? Even if they did who gets the money? It was the oil crash of the 80s which started the downfall Venezuela. Todays prices really going to help the country even if pumping more oil. Wouldnt pumping more oil be like having a few more million acres growing soybeans and already add to a over produced product? At least over produced as of now.

Maybe it is Trump so he can use leveage or might call it extortion with the oil, maybe.

Does Trump have any control of the oil?

As of now nothing has changed except Maduro is gone.
