Subject: Venezuela is so heavy.. often must be mixed to get it to flow.

The refineries in USA or majority are made to refine sour crude. Europe, Britain refineries are made to refine more sweet crude. This I read few years ago.
Get a better price sell the sweet crude and buy the cheaper sour crude.
From further reading mix some of the light crude with the sour, example would be mixing in lighter crude with the Canadian heavy sand oil which comes to USA.

We could spend an entire week of threads discussing refining and the types of fuels.. Venezuela is so heavy.. it flows like tar.. almost.  Yes our “Complex” refineries were initially built to crack that.. the beauty of US shales is they are the more valuable easy to crack.. not as easy as soybean oil.. so there’s that..

a plethora of options.. including selling high octane ethanol to blen with.. in Trumps model.. the US along with our influences.. just returned to being the big dawg in EVERYTHING.. including LNG.. Corn.. Soybeans.. bean Oul etc.

anyone could need.
