They also love to claim that there are lifetimes worth on potassium in the soil...and they are partially correct. BUT...the part they leave out is that it in the form of feldspar...which is a fancy name for rock...which wont be available in any form for 100s of years.


Please answer the questions so we can keep the topic on track.

Your ‘hundreds of years’ point is partially correct, but it doesn’t account for biology, roots, fungi, and organic acids that speed up mineral breakdown far beyond passive weathering. It also doesn’t acknowledge that this process has already been running for thousands of years. we’re not starting from zero. We can literally see this happening in real time with soil testing.
