CNY | I usually put out 2 bales at a time, 1 dry 1 silage. They will eat all of the silage bale, down to the last scrap, then bellow and complain before they start to eat the dry bale. Couple times when I have been gone for a couple days I put some extra silage bales out, not in the bale feeder just set on the ground. They ate them all up. Once didn’t have any silage bales tried that with dry bales they spread them all around and laid and crapped on them. My cows will eat dry hay in a feeder, but they just vacuum up silage bales | |
