| The wild stuff is the only good stuff - "tame" doesn't taste as good. I just let the grass grow - hides my patch from all the other hunters out there.
We had a large patch a couple of hundred feet up the road from the house that had been there for 30+ years. A few years ago, the county decided to widen our road and I knew it would be destroyed. I put the tine bucket on the skidsteer loader and went out there and dug the patch out in one big chunk and "planted" the dirt plug in a fence line corner back behind the barn. It has been a bit slow coming around, but it did survive. | |
