To much concentrate on a small frame will make pot bellies. When I wean mine they get 1 pound or less of ground corn and all the good grass hay they can eat. When they get up around 5-600 pounds I increase the corn and add some protein. At around 800 they transition to full feed and no hay. Works for me.
