In our area, WaterHemp is germinating in mid April, Not really sure what day that it starts to germinate? I am going to say that, as soon as a killing frost is out of the picture, WH germinates. By the end of May it is a foot tall. We killed a lot of it with vertical tillage and then the field cultivator just prior to planting corn.
