| With soybeans, we completely switched around our spray program. Instead of front loading the residuals in the pre or early post, we moved the group 15 to 2nd pass post after the 4th of July. And we had the cleanest beans we've had in YEARS. Like, before 2019. Waterhemp doesn't really get going here until after the 4th of July where it's a large enough population to cause problems. What comes between planting and the 4th of July is usually a small enough population that Liberty/enlist will take care of it. It's worth more to us to save the residual for later in the summer to carry us to harvest. | |
