Like anything, look it over.  I had two rebuit dodge rams at the same time.  A 1997 diesel and a 2001 gas. I put 175000 on the diesel before somebody pulled out in front of me and totalled it out for good.  The gas I still have.  Won't die.  Purchase price needs to reflect the title, rule of thumb used to be $5000 less.  I don't think that holds anymore.
