Subject: RE: Pretending I know nothing about palpating cows

We have had several vets in the area that check a lot cows but all seasonal no dairies, like 3 to 5 months of the year. Also several AI tecs that traveled the western US preg checking for large ranches doing as many as 1000 head a day. In my experience of less than 100 head the tecs where somewhat better.

They are all getting older having heath issues , nobody really looking for new clients. Had 3 of the young guns in the cow business local talking last year about buying their own ultra sound machine. But worrying about how long it would take until they could get good at it. They are close to 2000 cows among the 3 and no time to go to far from home to practice. All realizing it takes practice to be good at it.
