SW OH | Carfax knows nothing about repairs done by the owner. If I can't fix it I have a guy who can. All done privately.
My daughter bought a used Honda civic a few years ago. She paid for a carfax report against my objections to it. It showed no wrecks. She broke the lens on her headlight assembly when her lawn mower threw a rock at it. When we got the assembly off, you could see inside the fender. You could see the inside was wrinkled and not smooth. A magnet showed bondo in the fender. Now 3 years later the color of the fender is off from the rest of the car. Carfax is a waste of money.
