NC Kansas | Yeah sharpen isn’t doing you any good if you don’t need the burndown. You can expect about 10 days of residual out of 1 oz of Sharpen but if you aren’t going for burndown it’s a waste. If you have a late may or early June planting date we have guys do this -
30 days preplant - 3 oz flumi and 2,4-d/dicamba
Chase planter with 8 oz authority supreme and 8 oz metribuzin 4L. It’s cheaper to build supreme this year with 4.5 oz sulfentrazone and 4 oz anthem maxx if you want to use 2 products.
If worried about PPO injury at planting Chase the planter with 4 oz anthem maxx and 8 oz metribuzin 4L.
Can also swap the metribuzin at planting and move it up with that flumi in the first pass if you want.
To make it even more complicated but to give you the best overlapping residual, I’d run 10-12 oz metribuzin 4L 2-3 weeks preplant and come back with 2-3 oz flumi, 4 oz anthem maxx at planting which is making a stout rate of fierce for much cheaper than the premix of fierce EZ | |
