1000 of elevation change inside 200 acres that's a 60+ percent grade. Far too steep for me. But first is it a ridge acrost it or a hump in the middle. If the field is a square patch, it must be about 3000 feet on a side. A thousand-foot ridge accost the center would add 2900 feet to the 3000-foot strait line trip acrost the field. I am having trouble thinking you can farm land that steep.
I think your math is messed up. Most definitely can farm 1,000 feet of elevation change in about 40 acres.
The left fields have a lower section of 20 acres and an upper section of 20 acres. The center skinny ridge section is just short of 20 acres. Those represent about 900 feet of elevation change. The right field represents about 100 acres and 1,000 feet of elevation change. It is about 1,500 feet from the valley floor to the top of the ridge. This is the area I have always said we can hide some of the tallest skyscrapers here.
The plus is the great views we have and we run level land combines so no special equipment needed.
