Figured someone would go on a rant about calving when it’s warm out and being hard on the cows.


I wouldnt worry about that, I put bulls in July 1 so there's always cows calving in late May still and June, a couple in July even and I can't say I've had issues with the heat. Only thing ill say is its easier to find the April calvers and tag their calf when the leaves aren't fully out yet for spring

Lots of people fall calve starting mid August so what difference is the weather mid August vs June most the time.
