How can i measure a fields acreage when there is a large hill in it

....is the process of correcting an aerial imagery for earth curvature and elevation and other stuff. Search engine says Google Earth uses satellite imagery that has been orthorectified, so it can be used for measurements. But a planter monitor with good row shutoffs may be the most reliable measuring tool for acreage.
