There is no overthrow of the regime. Maduro's VP has taken over and she is arguably more adept to running his regime than he was. This isn't going to be as easy as some seem to think.

Edit: Venezuela has a larger population than Iraq did in 2003 and has terrain much like Vietnam(comparison made for effect). It's also twice as large as Iraq by land area. It's a large country with rough terrain. While overall I would believe the population would be more aligned with the US, this idea that the US has any real sway in country currently is far fetched.

Edit 2: I have seen some comparisons made to Panama in the 80's but unless a strong opposition leader surfaces it feels like a much more Herculean task vs the tiny country Panama was to effect regime change.
