Not reading much on here about the black herfords anymore.
I'm needing to change bulls in 2 more years and wanting a white faced bull. I'm wanting to know more about them as pink eye, gaining ability, and easy calving.
I've had several white faced simmentals half blood angus and got along fine with them. But just try to think of other choices.
I have mostly simmental angus cross cows, larg framed. They have all been calved and raised here on my farm.

As a former black Hereford breeder the best advice I have for you Tim is to stay away from JN genetics, which just happens to be most of the breed. There is some outcross genetics but they can be hard to find. You might be better to stick to the Simmi's.

I might have a few Sim-Ang-Ford baldie bulls available in the spring.
