We’ve played with the Herefords and prefer Sim base for performance and to keep white in the best places. Adding herf can get a little wild
White in the best places! That's funny.
I put a black Simmental bull on F1 Hereford/Angus cows and got 2 calves that looked like the old school spotted Simmental from the 80's. The only difference is they were black and white instead of red and white or yellow and white!
I've never had 'spots' with the Herefords before. Figured it had to come from the Simmental.
