Northeast Iowa | Thanks, we thankfully had time between rain events this year to keep weeds under control on most acres on our farm. Other family ground had a tougher time.
Typical passes include:
Corn: pre emerge tine weeder pass, post emergence flame cultivator pass, then 1-2 cultivator passes depending on weather
Soybeans: pre emerge tine weeder past, 1-4 post emergence tine weeder passes, 1-2 cultivator passes, cleanup with weed zapper as needed or use to control out of control field in season.
Oats: drill, spike tooth drag, swath, harvest | |
