I've been wondering the same. Also when did we stop believing in democracy? Alarming that we would capture a leader of another country that is presenting no immediate threat to our homeland. How are we any better than Russia or China? So if China or Russia doesn't like the president of the united states should they just capture them?

Venezuela wasn't being operated as a democracy. The rest of what you say is drivel. I don't know if this operation was the correct thing to do, but your statements and questions are plain stupidity.

Venezuela was taken over by a strong man many decades ago and US citizens were stripped of property. The Venezuelans were starved and killed. They were sending oil to Russia which you liberals consider enemy number one and have been up in arms about and you love sending money to Ukrain.
Seems like you protest about the positive things and greenlight the negative.
