Subject: Drainage under cattle barn

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251
I am building a 300x30 multiuse feeding/calving barn. We dug down to good clay and plan to use a layer of rock and a cap of lime under the bed pack.

Before adding rock to get it to grade, I wondered about laying two runs of drain tile under all that to the end of the building and back fill the trench with clean rock. Kinda like a French drain. Is this a waste? Im trying to keep bedding as dry as possible.
