Subject: Fixing up Curly

Central Nebraska

Curly resided at my grandparents house for as long as I can remember.  Before grandma passed she asked me to take him to my place.  He's lived in the quonset for the past 3-4 years with poor paint and a broken light fixture.  Yesterday I brought him inside, washed him off and scraped off as much of the old paint as I could. I game him a good coat of primer and the this morning put a coat of black enamel paint on him.  A new light should arrive today.  Next week looks nice so I'll probably pour a concrete base with 3-4 bags of concrete and put him near the corner of the driveway.

My dad says there were a few other Curly's in the neighborhood that Grandpa gave to some tenants.  I've never seen them so I don't know what happened with them.  I guess they were made by a fellow in or around Hays, Kansas.  Does anybody else have a Curly?
