I do not support the whole 'death' industry.

Funerals are an occasion to show support for the living who are grieving.   If you see me at one, you can take it as a given that there is someone grieving who is a very special person in my life. 

There is no need to say something.   Sometimes voices  say nothing, and a simple nod can say everything.

I would not take a 2 y/o and probably not a 5 y/o but I'm not saying absolutely on the 5 y/o, it would just depend.
