Wisconsin | So are you saying there are states that require a "rebuilt" or "previous salvage" titled vehicle to be inspected again at every title transfer?
I'll stick with WI, a "salvage" title is not eligible for registration until it's inspected, then it's a "rebuilt salvage" and handled the same as any other vehicle. I don't know what a "rebuilt" title from another state requires, but I doubt it requires much if anything. A salvage title from another state is similar to an in state salvage title, but probably gets a little more scrutiny of the numbers at the inspection. | |
