Subject: RE: Aberdeen Angus Bull...........anyone have an opinion??

Southeast Colorado
I hate leaving money on the table. But I could just use him primarily for heifers. We've got three other bulls now, but two of them have come up lame. One appears to still be breeding...........but this Aberdeen Angus came up for sale somewhat locally and I'm buying him basically to put my mind at ease with regards to covering our fall calving cows right now. We are planning to keep most of our heifers for the next couple of years, so the idea of having a dedicated heifer bull for the first go round seems like a decent plan. I just didn't know much about this breed..........so figured I'd gather some more info here.
