You mean the report nobody ever reads or knows what it says?
The last COOP I worked for was the prime example. The board couldn’t figure it out and believed everything the GM told them. They went belly up 2 years after I left all because none of the board or auditors did their job or listened to employee warnings. It should have never happened with a competent board president and board.
Why don't they read it or know what it says? It's a simple financial statement, the Cooperative act requires the audit report be available at any time to shareholders upon request. |
