In 2012 our farming mate in Sthn Illinois took us to St Louis - where we did "The Arch" - recommended.
The 'ol Mississippi was WAY down - boats only had one lane to navigate.
We also did the Air force Museum in Dayton. Seem to remember needing much more than the three hours our trip could spare - but a couple of comments. The 10 yr old would be in his element if he's at all mechanically minded, the younger one may be bored stiff after about 1/2 hour!. |
