Id check with your state. “Here” a car with an out of state salvage title has to have an Avalanche of paperwork, and be done with a state certified “rebuilder” to attain a “rebuilt” title.
Now in my experience, this wasn’t a junk vehicle I was looking to fix. Nice, normal, operational pickup. Not worth the expense and hassle though. But since it had a salvage title, it was no good.
