| Everything is too darn expensive. Sadly the equipment for my uses is starting to dry up on used market. Under 30’ tillage stuff, max 12 row planter, 6 row combine…. For a while stuff was so cheap. I honestly bought a springtooth because it had almost new shovels. I priced out new Shoup shovels, bought unit for much, much less then cost for shovels. Now considering a 4th unit. 30’ older jd 1000 but $600. 15 miles away. One day I will see it in person, likely buy. My old one fold hyd cylinder ram is rust pitted badly. Cost that for new hyd unit.
I want a 980 but decent ones +$5000. I don't use springtooth as much since disc-o-vator in cornstalks. But MAYBE 980 clearance I could use it more in cornstalks? The 1000 plugs too easy. | |
