| Milwaukee has tended to focus more on the trades than homeowners and it has allowed them to build products for undeserved markets where buyers are willing to spend more for a tool but it has to perform well. Up until five or so years ago I would say Dewalt dominated over Milwaukee in the woodworking/general construction market, now I would say they are neck and neck and right up there with some of the "commercial" grade brands like Hilti or Festool.
Milwaukee getting aggressive in the mechanic tools market probably changed that market more than I've seen anywhere else. | |
