cut the legs off your feed bunk. They do grow slow . will finish out about 700 to 750#.
biggest issue I've seen, the butcher doesn't cut you a lot of slack in the processing charges.
Exactly, processed a 750 lb 3 legged calf last month and with the $100 kill fee, $60 offal fee and $30 e coli fee the fixed costs really add up on top of the $1.20/lb hanging weight processing fee
