CNY | I would steer clear. Only way they pencil is with government $. Quite a few put in around here on dairies 15 years ago to make electricity. When the state stopped paying more for the "green" electric many of them got shut down. I can think of 3 of the top of my head in this county that are shut down. Now "clean" natural gas is the thing. Some have been converted to that, some built for gas.
They compress the gas into semi trailers which are giant bombs driving down the road then haul the trailers a couple hours away to where it gets injected into a pipeline that somehow is connected on the grid to California so they get a higher price. Make sense?
If I was to do one. I would sell the company 2 acres to build it on. Put a pipe for manure to go there and a pipe manure to come back. And a bypass between the pipes to cut the whole thing out when it shuts down. My 2 cents | |
