coast of Maine | It is not corn syrup that has a health issue connection,,it is the high fructose corn syrup that seems to be the main issue with weight gains.They have had corn syrup for 100 years .It is sort of natural but the HFCS is cracked /catalized/isomerisized/corn syrup.Lots of enzyme actions that change the molecular makeup.I do know that sugar is bad for many as it gets consumed too much,,,BUT HFCS is now hidden in even burger meat at some places.In the buns/relish/ketchup/meats/almost all drinks at the chains. | |
