I was wondering a bit too when he went off big time on GM Duramaxes and GM as pure junk.
I thot all 3 of the diesels made today were respectable.
I do hate GM , I do think its the worst stuff ever built .
Know what i crushed more of than anything else -gm .
Very low quality across the whole line . There are a couple crossovers and SUV . my son wont touch at all for repairs .
He started in a shop summers at 15-16 , went on to full time tech . Hes 28 now doing fire service . Son has at least 10 years in . He still has a little shop when not at station .
In his early years , i went to lend my help as best i could . Son called a bit . (im not a car mechanic much at all ) .
But being a ford guy , ford built some junk too.
son says they have an engine that has cam phasers , hell i worked on engines 40 years and have no idea what they are . he wont touch them either .
What son will say is the best made , Toyota .
And he does not own one or drive one.
Station is 100 miles from his house , hes getting a used camry to drive to shift 48/96 . |
