New or Used, they will leave you stranded on the side of the road. You didn't mention the year of your Rav4.
Many of those cream puff, low mileage depreciating liabilities suffer from short trip, stop and go around town trips.

I feel more at ease buying a used vehicle that has some road miles, brought up to normal operating temps and
driven like its stolen :)
Grandmas car that was driven to the store on the corner or only church on Sunday......is not for me :)
