SE Nebraska | Is it white runny poop or full blown scours with blood in the stool? A true case of scours would have that calf dehydrated and dead in a week. When we feed our cows too much protein, the calves get alot of milk and they are also eating some of that extra protein feed and they get milk scours. It gives the calf a dirty butt, runny stool and the poop looks white. Usually happens around the 2month age. That has been my experience anyway. I never have to treat any of them and seems to go away on its own. | |
